MENOUFIYA, Egypt: A number of women supporting the Muslim Brotherhood organized a protest in Shibin el-Kom, the capital of Menoufiya governorate, on Sunday.
The protesters raised the sign of Rabaa, chanting against the army and the police.
Security forces moved to the scene of the protests in order to contain it, and prevent any potential clashes.
Earlier on Thursday, 20 women supporters of the Brotherhood were arrested amid clashes in Alexandria.
