SUEZ: A state of security alert was announced in Suez Monday following the arrival of former President Mohamed Morsi to his court session as a preventative measure to secure the canal, according to Suez Security Director Khalil Harb.
He said that the directorate’s leaders are spread out in front of vital institutions such as churches, banks, and the Suez Governorate building.
Harb also added that cars coming into Suez will undergo intensified inspection.
