Erdogan lands in Pakistan’s Lahore

ANKARA: Turkish Prime Minister Recip Tayyab Erdogan arrived early Monday morning in Lahore on an official two-day visit to Pakistan aimed at promoting economic cooperation.

The Turkish prime minister is accompanied by the economy and transport ministers and two lawmakers of the ruling Justice and Development Party.

Erdogan will take part in the Turkish-Pakistani business forum, to kick off later in the day, according to the spokeswoman for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry.
