CAIRO: Minister of Interior Mohamed Ibrahim said on Monday that security forces are fully prepared to secure the streets after ending the curfew on November 14.

The minister warned against any violence in the Muslim Brotherhood demonstrations on November 19, which is the anniversary of the Mohamed Mahmoud protests and the Ghana-Egypt World Cup qualifying match.

Ibrahim also warned against approaching any public facility, adding that surveillance cameras were installed to identify rioters.

The minister added that security forces succeeded in directing harsh strikes to Takfiri groups responsible for the failed attempt to assassinate him, making dozens of arrests.

Some of the assailants involved in the attack on al-Warraq Church, the military intelligence building in Ismailia, and the Security Directorate in North Sinai were also arrested, according to the minister.

Minister of Interior Mohamed Ibrahim said the ministry started restructuring the State Security Department after June 30.
