CAIRO: 18-year-old Ayman Sabahy is embarking on a satire show on YouTube, impersonating famous satirist Bassem Youssef.
Sabahy’s friends call him “Bassem Youssef impersonator” because he imitates him all the time.
“Since Bassem Youssef started his show, I have been imitating him everywhere,” Sabahy told Youm7.
“I imitate his facial expression and the way he raises his eyebrows. My family encouraged me to impersonate him.”
“I am against the halting of Bassem Youssef ’s show and hope it returns because I’m fond of him. As for me, I have no political affiliations and do not support anyone at the expense of anyone else,” he added.
